Andrea Nasuti joined us through the Rutgers University, Graduate School of Social Work program, as a first-year therapist intern and is now staying on for her second year. Andrea’s genuine compassion and empathy influence her work with individuals of all ages. She helps adults, teens and children utilizing Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches.
Prior to interning at CFCE, Andrea worked for a New Jersey support coordination agency where she was fundamental in developing person-centered service plans for adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Andrea is an experienced, certified yoga teacher who has taught yoga and meditation to individuals of all ages and ability for over a decade. When appropriate Andrea will draw from this experience to infuse mindfulness into her work with children and adults. She has a particular interest in the mind body connection and integrating holistic practices with therapeutic interventions.
When she is not in school or at work, Andrea enjoys practicing yoga and meditation, hiking, coaching youth field hockey and softball, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and rescue dog.
