Becca Gater comes to us from Missio Seminary’s Graduate School of Counseling. Becca has an undergraduate degree in Education and Music from The College of New Jersey. She uses a holistic, client-centered, strengths-based approach when working with clients of all ages. Her methods and techniques borrow from REBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy being mindful that different people learn and grow in different ways through different interventions.
Becca is passionate about her work with teens and their families. She sees the need for improved communication and promotes identity development and growth in a healthy family setting. Her work with kids and teens ranges from preschool to college-aged students. She has experience working with kids and families navigating developmental disabilities and behavior challenges.
Working with adults is another area where Becca enjoys using her holistic, client-centered, strengths-based approach. She is able to help her clients navigate life’s challenges with an approachable and nonjudgemental style.
Becca loves to learn and is curious about many topics. She loves to spend time with her family. Her hobbies include singing, reading, and fiber arts.
