Becca Gater comes to us from Missio Seminary’s Graduate School of Counseling. Becca has an undergraduate degree in Education and Music from The College of New Jersey. She practices with a holistic framework, believing that healing can come from many sources. Her methods and techniques borrow from REBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy being mindful that different people learn and grow in different ways through different interventions.
Becca is passionate about her work with teens and their families. She sees the need for improved communication and promotes identity development and growth in a healthy family setting. Her work with kids and teens ranges from preschool to college-aged students. She has experience working with kids and families navigating developmental disabilities and behavior challenges.
Becca loves to learn and is curious about many topics. She loves to spend time with her family. Her hobbies include singing, reading, and fiber arts.
