Supporting Children, Teens, and Families
I’m Isabella Versace, LAC, a Licensed Associate Counselor here to support children, adolescents, and their families through a wide range of life’s complexities. My aim is to create a safe and empowering space where you and your loved ones can feel truly understood and supported.
My Approach to Care
I specialize in working with children and adolescents who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, grief, or trauma. My expertise also includes supporting clients with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and providing trauma-informed care for those who have experienced difficult events. I’m also passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they navigate significant life transitions, academic stress, peer relationship issues, and self-esteem concerns. Beyond individual work, I provide invaluable support to families seeking to strengthen communication and connection, and offer guidance to parents and caregivers in understanding and effectively responding to their child’s emotional needs.
Fostering Resilience and Growth
Central to my approach is my belief in the power of an individual’s inherent strengths. I utilize strengths-based approaches and principles of positive psychology to help clients recognize their inner resources and build crucial coping and communication skills. For my younger clients, I often incorporate play therapy, recognizing that play is a child’s natural language for expressing emotions and processing experiences.
Holistic Care for Lasting Well-being
Additionally, I have a special interest in the mind-body connection, incorporating this perspective into my work by exploring how healthy activities and dietary choices can contribute to overall well-being. This holistic approach, combined with my dedication to behavioral therapy, helps clients foster resilience and achieve lasting growth.
