During his time working in a therapeutic residential treatment facility, Stan helped teens regulate their emotions, improve their executive functioning skills and heal from loss and trauma.
Stan is trained to help those experiencing anxiety, ADHD, OCD, depression, grief and loss, relationship conflict, separation/divorce, stress, anger, familial, and other mental health issues.

Stan has received specialized training from the Global Trauma Recovery Institute to help individuals coping with trauma, including PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Those studies took Stan to Rwanda to support local therapists counseling those dealing with the effects of the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

Stan is also trained in administering and interpreting different assessment tools that can assist those seeking career counseling (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong’s Interest Inventory), premarital counseling (Prepare/Enrich), and talent assessments using the Bar-On Emotional Intelligence assessment tool (EQ-I 2.0).
