Marie Wiliszewski

Marie Wiliszewski, MA, LAC is a Licensed Associate Counselor who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults. She creates a safe and positive space for her clients by incorporating empathy and genuineness into the sessions.

Utilizing an Integrative Model, Marie allows for creative and expressive outlets for her clients, harmonized with practical, useful, and effective skill-building interventions. Marie’s approach is client-centered, supportive, strength-based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and empowering. She works side by side with clients to find their voice. Marie has experience working with anxiety, depression, difficulty transitioning into adulthood, frustration, and children of divorce and has received training in the S-CAT model for Selective Mutism.

Marie received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University, as well as her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rowan University. Marie has a strong interest in psychology and helping others. Her passion led her to many roles during her academic career, including Resident Assistant, patient observer, group facilitator, and counseling intern. Marie is currently enrolled in a Psy.D. Program at Immaculata University.

When Marie steps out of the office and the classroom, she leans into her love of animals and enjoys spending time with her rescued beagles. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, and spending time outside.
