Rebecca Norris

Becky Norris, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and certified school social worker.  She has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years.  Becky has experience in a multitude of settings including counseling agencies and schools.

Becky graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers College and a Masters in Social Work from Temple University, concentrating on Children and Families. Becky is passionate about helping others and providing a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment.

Becky enjoys working with children, families, and couples. Over the years, she has developed expertise in helping clients struggling with anxiety, depression, divorce, school phobia, body image, and grief.  In addition, she has a passion for women’s issues, such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, perinatal mood disorders, and relationship issues. Becky has advanced training in the treatment of eating disorders, OCD, and couples.

She continues to actively participate in training to advance her skills as a therapist.  Becky approaches counseling from an integrative, client-centered approach.  She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relationship Therapy, Play Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness theories to strive for the best possible outcomes.

In her spare time, Becky can be found cheering on her children on the ball field and chasing after her new puppy, Winnie.
