Guiding Women, Couples, and Families Through Life’s Seasons
Hi, I’m Becky Norris. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’m here to offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can find support, explore challenges, and truly thrive.
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s complexities. My approach is always client-centered and integrative, meaning we’ll work together to find the strategies that best fit your unique needs and goals. I believe in fostering a truly collaborative environment where you feel understood and empowered.
My Passion: Supporting Women’s Reproductive Journeys
I’m deeply committed to supporting women through every stage of their reproductive health, understanding the profound emotional, mental, and physical shifts involved. I offer specialized, empathetic care for:
- Infertility: Navigating the emotional complexities, grief, and stress of trying to conceive, and supporting you through fertility treatments.
- Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs): Providing compassionate support for depression and anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period, helping you find stability and joy.
- Pregnancy & Postpartum Challenges: Addressing the unique emotional shifts, identity changes, and relationship adjustments that come with expecting and new parenthood.
- Menopause: Guiding you through the physical and emotional transitions of this significant life stage with understanding and tools for coping.
My training in these areas, coupled with a focus on your physical, emotional, and mental health, ensures you receive comprehensive support.
Specialized Expertise: Eating Disorders & Body Image
I also hold advanced training in the treatment of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating patterns. I understand the complex relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors around food and body image. In this safe space, we can explore:
- Body Image Concerns: Developing a healthier, more compassionate relationship with your body.
- Disordered Eating Patterns: Working through restrictive eating, bingeing, purging, and other challenging behaviors.
- Emotional Eating: Understanding the underlying emotions that drive eating behaviors and finding healthier coping mechanisms.
- Recovery Support: Providing comprehensive support for individuals on their path to lasting recovery, including collaboration with medical and nutritional professionals when needed.
My goal is to help you heal your relationship with food and your body, fostering true freedom and well-being.
How I Can Help You and Your Loved Ones
My passions and experience allow me to support a wide range of concerns for children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I’ve developed expertise in helping clients struggling with:
- Anxiety & Stress Management: Developing effective coping strategies to manage worry, stress, and school avoidance.
- Depression: Providing pathways to understanding and managing depressive symptoms.
- Divorce & Family Transitions: Guiding families through difficult changes with support and insight.
- Grief & Loss: Creating a compassionate space to process loss and find pathways to healing.

- School-Based Challenges: Addressing academic stress, behavioral concerns, and school-related anxieties.
My Approach to Therapy
I draw from a diverse toolkit of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our sessions to your specific needs. My methods include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helping you identify and gently shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
- Relationship Therapy & Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT): Focusing on strengthening bonds and improving communication within relationships.
- Exposure Response Prevention (ERP): A specialized and highly effective technique for treating OCD and anxiety disorders.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS): A transformative model of psychotherapy that offers a compassionate and empowering approach to healing and self-discovery.
- Play Therapy: For children, play becomes a natural and powerful way to express feelings and process experiences.
- Mindfulness: Integrating techniques to help you stay grounded, present, and build emotional resilience.
I’m committed to continually advancing my skills as a therapist, regularly participating in training to ensure you receive the most current and effective care.
My Journey & Life Beyond Sessions
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rutgers College and went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work from Temple University, with a concentration on Children and Families. My passion for helping others has been the driving force behind my two decades in this field.
When I’m not in a session, you can usually find me cheering on my children on the ball field or enjoying walks with our new puppy, Winnie.
