“It takes a village to raise a child—I’m honored to be part of yours.”

Life’s challenges do not arrive neatly or at just one stage of development. Children, teens, and young adults all experience moments when emotions feel overwhelming, transitions feel uncertain, or relationships feel strained. You do not have to navigate those moments alone.
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, offering compassionate, developmentally informed counseling that meets each client where they are. Whether your child is expressing big feelings through behavior, your teen is navigating anxiety or identity, or you are a young adult facing the complexities of adulthood, my role is to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and support.

My Approach: Meeting Children Where They Are

I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. My approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities while remaining deeply relational at its core.
For children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), an evidence-based approach that honors play as a child’s natural language. In this space, toys become words, and play becomes communication. I embody the CCPT “Be With” attitudes in every session:

  • I am here (Presence)

  • I hear you (Attunement)

  • I understand (Empathy)

  • I care (Warmth)

  • I delight in you (Joy)

Through a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, children develop emotional awareness, regulation skills, confidence, and resilience that extend beyond the playroom and into daily life.

With teens and young adults, I integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support emotional regulation, identity development, anxiety management, and navigating life transitions. Sessions are collaborative, strengths-based, and paced with intention.

Across all ages, I view behavior and emotions as meaningful forms of communication. They are not problems to be fixed, but signals to be understood.

Experience & Specializations

I am passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating:

Children and Adolescents

  •     Emotional regulation, anxiety, self-esteem, and social-emotional development

Neurodiversity

  •     Strength-based support for ADHD and Autism

Anxiety and Trauma

  •     Helping clients feel safe, grounded, and empowered

Family Transitions

  •    Divorce, co-parenting changes, and shifting family dynamics

Young Adults

  •     Identity exploration, life transitions, stress, and emotional overwhelm

Emotion Dysregulation

  •     Building coping skills and internal awareness across the lifespan

My background in school settings has deepened my understanding of how emotional, academic, and social systems intersect, allowing me to collaborate thoughtfully with families and caregivers.

Beyond the Session

I believe presence and balance are essential, not only in therapy, but in life. Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and my cat, Draco Meowfoy (yes, he lives up to the name). I find grounding in reading, walking in nature, and recharging along the beaches of Long Beach Island, practices that mirror the same intentional presence I bring to my work with clients.

Let’s Grow Together

Finding the right therapist is a meaningful decision. If you are seeking someone who will honor your story, adapt to your needs, and walk alongside you or your child with warmth and intention, I would be honored to connect.
