Clyde Boucher

Clyde Boucher, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker. He has been working in mental health and addiction services providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy for over 35 years.

Clyde utilizes an Intergenerational Family Systems approach being attuned to the influence of culture, gender, class, and ethnicity of families, and the debilitating effects of trauma on relationships.

Clyde is passionate about the use of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to address the effects of trauma on the attachment bonds within couples, and enabling them to have fully connected and intimate lives.

Clyde has advanced training in trauma recovery, couple therapy, family therapy, mindfulness, EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), and recovery from chemical and behavioral addictions. He is certified in EMDR Therapy through EMDRIA.

Clyde holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University.

Clyde is certified in clinical supervision.
