Come Join Us!
Join Lelan Lockwood-Maldonado, CFCE Therapist and adoptee herself, for a 6-week adult adoptee support group where members can create social connections, improve coping skills, and explore their adoption narratives! Our group will discuss the many emotions that come with the adoptee experience and empower each other to embrace our unique adoption stories.

Adult Adoptees Support Group
A 6-Week *Virtual Group beginning:
Monday, April 6th at 7:00 PM
Fee: $50 per session

Groups are affirming and inclusive of all gender identities and expressions.
In this group, participants will:
- Develop connections between adoptees
- Discuss and process adoption-related challenges (e.g.,experiences of discrimination, cross-cultural issues, & struggles with maintaining healthy social relationships)
- Improve coping and mindfulness skills
- Identify support system
- Deepen understanding of adoption stories
Meet your Facilitator:
Lelan Lockwood-Maldonado, MA, LAC
Lelan is a Licensed Associate Counselor at CFCE, and is an adoptee herself. She is incredibly passionate about working with adolescents and young adults. Her goal is to create a supportive and understanding space where you feel truly seen and heard.
