Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop roleplaying game that allows for freedom of expression, supports social emotional growth, and has been clinically proven to reduce social anxiety in adults, teens, and young children. In being part of a shared story, players can achieve self-mastery through exploring a fantasy setting that adapts and grows with them. Boundaries are determined in an RPG Consent Form and within individual Session Zeroes to ensure that each game is curated for each individual’s needs.

How this Program Supports Your Child:

  • Engagement: Role-playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons, provide an exciting and motivating platform that captivates participants, making the learning process enjoyable.
  • Social Emotional Growth: The interpersonal skills developed through gameplay offer direct application towards improved interactions and relationships with parents, siblings, friends, and family.
  • Freedom of Expression: Our program fosters a non-judgmental, safe, supportive, and inclusive space for every participant to grow and thrive.
  • Anxiety Management: Play therapy provides an outlet for kids to practice skills that can reduce social & generalized anxiety, both projectively through gameplay and in reality with other players and the Game Master.
