Hailey Alles

Hailey Alles (she/her/hers) is an MSW Graduate Student at Rutgers University, specializing in interpersonal violence and trauma.
Hailey’s approach to therapy is trauma-informed and client-centered. She uses an attachment lens and recognizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for change. Her warmth and compassion create a safe environment where clients can express themselves without pressure or judgement. She recognizes the client’s innate capacity for change and serves as a teacher, a guide and an empathetic witness to the journey.
Her background as a nanny has afforded her the ability to relate to children and teens of any age and gives her a unique perspective. Her dedication to her studies has given her the skills and knowledge to address a wide range of issues that bring people into therapy.
Hailey has worked with children aged 4-17 on issues including self-esteem, self-harm, behavioral issues, and trauma. She employs modalities like Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, and Interpersonal Therapy and creates an individualized treatment plan for each of her clients. She has worked with young adults as well as perpetrators of domestic violence, giving her a well-rounded view of trauma and how to address it. She also has experience working with clients on LGBTQIA+ related issues.
As a social work intern, Hailey recognizes that we are all part of larger systems that play a role in the way we think, feel and act. She works to bring these roles to light and collaborates with clients on ways to mitigate these factors and address the issue from all angles.
In her free time, Hailey enjoys writing, painting, and gardening. She is passionate about social justice and the environment.
