Sara Eisenhuth

Sara Eisenhuth brings over two decades of experience supporting individuals and families, uniquely combining her training as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L). This dual background allows her to offer a truly integrative approach to therapy, blending emotional support with practical, body-based strategies to help clients of all ages build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Sara works with children, teens, adults, and families, and is especially skilled at helping clients navigate anxiety, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, and neurodiverse experiences. Her work is grounded in both developmental understanding and relational depth, which allows her to meet clients where they are—whether that’s helping a young child regulate big emotions, supporting a teen in developing executive functioning skills, or working with an adult to process grief or manage life stress.
Her years of experience in settings including early intervention, schools, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and residential treatment centers have given her a broad and deep perspective on mental health and well-being across the lifespan.
An Integrated Approach
Sara’s dual training allows her to look beyond symptoms and consider the whole person—emotionally, physically, and developmentally. Her sessions might include a mix of talk therapy, body-based regulation tools, sensory-informed strategies, and parent or caregiver coaching. Whether she’s working with a child struggling with sensory processing or an adult experiencing anxiety, Sara tailors her approach to suit the individual’s unique needs and strengths.
She draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy, while also incorporating specialized techniques like DIR Floortime, Handwriting Without Tears, and Therapeutic Listening. She is also passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and helping clients build self-awareness and confidence from a strengths-based perspective.
