Traven Harris

Traven Harris is a graduate student in Rider University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. As an advocate for marginalized communities, Traven acknowledges societal impact on individuals’ well-being, and seeks to create a comfortable space for clients to process current experiences and evaluate their needs. Traven builds a genuine, collaborative relationship with her clients, wanting them to feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome life’s obstacles.

Traven holds a special interest in providing therapeutic services for children. She previously worked for 2 years as a Behavioral Health Worker within the School District of Philadelphia, helping young clients experiencing challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more. In this role, Traven found her passion for working with this population, and now seeks to help them process their emotions and experiences through Play Therapy.

Traven has most recently worked with clients in issues related to substance use and addiction. She is committed to providing a non judgemental, safe space for members of all communities to process, grow, and feel accepted.

Outside of CFCE, Traven enjoys anything related to music as well as spending time outdoors, reading books, and eating any and all flavors of ice cream.
